The EZ QR Code Generator Chrome Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, browsing history, or user information.

Local Processing: All visual QR code rendering is processed strictly locally on your machine using standard client-side browser APIs. No cryptographic or cryptographic-adjacent data is transmitted outside your device.
ActiveTab Permission: The extension uses the browser's "activeTab" permission. This permission is triggered only when you explicitly click the extension icon to convert your current active tab's URL into a QR code. This URL is processed temporarily in memory to generate the visual image and is never saved, logged, or shared.

2. Usage Data & Metadata

We may collect anonymous website usage data (such as page visits, clicks, and feature interactions) to improve our services and understand user needs. This data is fully aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.

The Chrome Extension does not track your browsing activity, user actions, or usage metadata.
